SOCCER PLAYER KILLED. PTE. W. R. BRODIE Soccer enthusiasts especially will regret to hear of the death of Pte. W. R. Brodie, who was killed in action in France on July 19. He was a native of Scotland, and came to Melbourne about four years ago. He played for two seasons with Melbourne Thistle Club.
