John Templeman arrived in Perth from London in 1912 and all we know about his connection with the junior club Leederville was when ‘Unomi’ of the The West Australian reported his enlistment in the paper on 24 July 1915. Private Templeman served in France and was invalided due to illness back to Australia at war’s end. He passed away in 1959.
