As is still the case, Queensland was the most decentralised Australian state in 1914. So it follows that the game also is decentralised and is hard to characterise as having one identity (unlike the case with South Australia or Tasmania). We divide Queensland into four regions: Brisbane, Ipswich, Darling Downs and Country — as more information comes to light we might have to divide the latter category into sectors.
