Charles Percy Weston was born in Wandsworth, London on 6 March 1892. He migrated to Australia following his younger brother Harold in 1911.

A forceful centre forward for Northumberland & Durham United, he played in the 1914 Dockerty Cup Final. One of the brothers also played for the club in 1913 and one participated in the trip to introduce association football to Bendigo in 1912.

Much like his brother’s, his military career was marked by illness and debility. Nonetheless he recoved to be married in London on 17 July 1919 and finally discharged in February 1920.

Perhaps married life turned his head because Charles seems not to have resumed playing until 1923 when the brothers played for Spotswood until 1924 before moving to Brunswick United in 1925. He is little mentioned after that apart from the moment he pleaded guilty to overstaying in a parking spot in Flinders Street in 1932.

He died on 5 August 1973 in Victoria at the age of 81.
