“Robert Brodie Dewar was born in Glasgow and after arriving in Australia he became an Accountant with D. and J. Fowler Limited in Fremantle. He was one of the founders of the Caledonian Soccer Club and after serving in France he helped ‘Geordie’ Brown re-establish the team after the losses of The Great War.” Dewar married in 1926 and was still honorary secretary in 1928 when he took ill. He passed away on 30 July 1929 at the age of 43.
